Event season is among us, and it’s been a great start so far. Barkman is excited to be part of these events with booths to showcase new products and get a chance to chat with everyone who stops by. Here are some of the events we have been at so far, and we can’t wait for more as the season starts in full swing!
January Events
To kick off the start of event season, Barkman had booths at the MB Hog Expo and the Banff Pork Seminar. These events allow us to connect with our customers and see what’s new or changing in the world of agriculture while showing our line of products.
The Western Retail Lumber Association (WRLA) Building and Hardware Showcase in Winnipeg was a great way to show off our new product offerings for 2023 in our home province while connecting with our customers and retailers.
The ROMEX-sponsored Western Canadian Landscape Summit (WCLS) is making its way through the country, starting with Vancouver. This expo was a fantastic opportunity to see what’s new in our industry, chat with experts and again, show off some of our products to get customers excited for the upcoming season. Ending the month was another ROMEX-sponsored WCLS event in Kelowna. With our new plant in Merritt, Barkman is very excited to make more connections in the Western market. This event was again a perfect opportunity to do just that with some sneak peeks at some products made right in BC.
February Events
Starting off our February events was the Grow Show in Winnipeg. For all things landscaping and gardening, Grow 2023 was another great seminar with speeches and booths to highlight what’s new in our industry. As a bonus, our Product Development Manager, Dennis Bergen was given the opportunity to talk about our new products for the year and the inspiration behind them. One of the biggest events of the season was BuildEx Vancouver. Barkman has been exhibiting at BuildEx for several years, giving us a chance to show off new and existing products on a bigger scale. This year was special since we were able to show products made in our new Merritt production plant. This included new colours and products we haven’t produced before.
