The Barkman family picnics were up and running after two years this last week. For the first time, we were able to host a picnic for all four of our locations. Employees at our Steinbach, Winnipeg, Crossfield, and Merritt locations were treated to some great food and fun games while gathering with coworkers and families.
A big thank-you goes out to the Communications team, (Jason Plett, Matthew Schalm, and Janessa Penner) as well as Carrie Skrabek and her team for organizing the events and creating a great atmosphere for everyone who attended! Another thank-you goes out to all the staff volunteers who helped make the picnics a success.
Potato sack races, water balloon tosses and yard games were enjoyed by kids and adults alike. With candy prizes on the line, everyone wanted to get involved.
All in all, the events were enjoyed by everyone. We look forward to continuing this tradition next year.
