A few weeks ago, a customer of ours was kind enough to drop off an old Barkman steps brochure that had been sitting in the glove compartment of his father’s truck for a number of years; forty-one years to be specific. Back then, the only colours we offered were natural, red, yellow and brown. Much simpler, if you ask us. As you would expect, the brochure has all the markings of a piece of literature designed in 1971, right down to the typeface choices and hand-drawn specification drawings. We also had our own mascot back then which only added to the charm.
