For the fifth year in a row, Barkman has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
“The 2022 Best Managed winners exemplify innovation, adaptability, and resilience in the face of uncertainty,” said Lorrie King, a Deloitte Private partner and co-leader of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “Over the past year, these forward-forging companies have pivoted to successfully respond to challenges and capitalize on new opportunities, leveraging industry-leading competencies to maximize their investments and drive sustainable growth.”
Over 1100 companies have been recognized since the program’s inception in 1993, with 490 companies in the current network of winners. Among the businesses who have earned the Best Managed Companies title, Barkman has demonstrated its ability to plan strategically, strive towards innovation, engage our employees through training and education, show commitment and create a sound environment for our employees, and continually improve our financial performance.
General Manager, Brian Pries, exclaimed gratitude for the award designation. “It is always an honour, and we are looking to keep this going into the future.” Pries mentions this award would not have been attainable without the work of the Barkman team. “You are all a part of us achieving this designation and carrying it forward.”
